Updated Version of Convert Final Cut Pro Markers to Flash Video Cue Points
I finally got around to updating the AIR utility for converting Flash Video Cue Points. It works with AIR 1.0. To get the new version, download:

To learn how to use it, see this post.

I´m deeply impressed and inspired. In my project I use Markers a lot to transcribe and annotate in some kind of scene-detecting post-script-writing manner. My blog/CMS running under the working title AUTOMOTIF is set up as a platform and project journal on this narrative script-research film project based on old German Normal-8 reel archival material to be logged, transcripted, annotated and organized in a way to call for interaction and collaborative editing. Ways of commenting and deeper analyzing parts of the film in an enhanced online workflow are to be developed throughout this project.
Applying your converter, these markers are able to survive a flash encoding process as cue points, serving as both chapters and comments. It took me some time to reload and update both AIR and the workflow in my Final Cut Project, but now a test file will soon be running on my blog page. Once again: great job! There´s nothing like it on the whole web!!!
Greetings /Timo

John:
Jay Shaffer (@jayshaffer) sent me the link to your app via twitter. I use XML imported cue points in Flash all the time, and this application will help shave off even more of the monotonous work (and time). I recently published an article on manually translating FCP time to Flash time, which is good, but this makes it even better!
Hopefully, Sorenson Squeeze will start supporting XML import for cue points.
Thanks man!

I came across your app via The Sterile Eye, and it sounds like it would be a huge timesaver in the project I have in front of me. Unfortunately, it appears to be incompatible with Air 1.5, which is what they have on offer now.
I know this is a labor of love, but do you have any plans to update it?
Thanks much!

Hi Matt,
I am able to run the app and I have AIR 1.5 installed. Are you running the 1.02 version of the app?
Cheers,
John
